Sorry Not Sorry - The Worst Thing to do on the Bus

Don't take this personally, it's merely a rant for your amusement
You're probably not annoying anyway :)

Hello hello again!
This is a newww post about things that people do that bother me.
Like seriously, I was on the bus today and everybody was being so annoying!

And a video by Dan Howell aka danisnotonfire about "What not to do on Public Transport"
Because we all love his super cool videos, right? And I can relate to this video

Relevant (yet irrelevant because they're not talking about what I'm talking about) quote from Mean Girls
Karen: oh my gosh, she's so annoying
Gretchen: who is?
Karen:...who's this?
Gretchen: Gretchen....
Karen: oh ok, hold on....oh my gosh, she's so annoying!
In this case, I meant people on the bus which brings us nicely to this pet peeve..

People on the bus. In London
You've heard of people on the train being annoying, you're about to hear about London bus travel.
Those people! Not all of them, but a hell of a lot of them

Scenario number one:
Ok, let's face it, a bus is pretty big, but it has a pretty slim design when you think about it
The other day, I was on the bus, and I tried to get off
This lady in front of me had her arm stretched right across the bus.
Oh my days, you are not a train crossing barrier.
I got trapped in the bus, she was totally oblivious to the whole thing -_-

Scenario number two:
Today, I was at the back of the bus and a lady came and sat next to me
Ok, I was ok with her sitting beside me, but every time the bus turned, she would stretch her arm across me and put her hand
on the rail.
Oh wow.
Number one: you're not my seatbelt. Buses don't have those for a reason
Number two: you're sitting down! You're not going to fall off your seat unless you do something stooooopid. (I just stole my friend Tasnim's word, she'll get me for that later)
Logic.

Scenario number three:
The bus was packed, but the back of the bus had like, three empty seats!
But nooooo, rather than the dude sitting down in one of them, what does he do?
Stands right in the narrow part so nobody can get past.
Very smart man, very smart(!)
So it took me forever to get off the bus because he just wasn't bothered to sit down. -_-

And finally
Scenario number four:
And this happens often, I bet half the people in London (and probably in a lot of other places) reading this could relate to this scenario
When you're sitting down and the person's phone rings behind you
And they answer it.
And they yell on the phone to the other person on the line (tends to happen in a foreign language but even in English, annoying all the same)
Ugh! The person you're talking to on the phone can hear you!
So can the person in front of you!
Take a chill pill!

So basically, that's the worst of the worst that I've been through on the bus recently.
I vow to get that camper van so I don't ever have to do bus travel with annoying strangers ever again.
I'm walking from now on!
(Ok, to be fair, I probably won't walk everywhere, that would be silly if I want to go to Westfield, pretty far from over here)

Video Of The Week #22 - Lana Del Rey vs Cedric Gervais ~ Summertime Sadness Remix

Hello hello!

So now it's video of the week number 22 and the song for the week is Lana Del Rey's single, Summertime Sadness
But we're taking things up a notch and moving swiftly to the Cedric Gervais Remix, because he actually made it that little bit faster <3
Probably my favourite Lana Del Rey song, I actually don't listen to her much, but she's quite good. :)
It's from her album, Born To Die, and as of this blog post, its peak position (remix) in the UK chart is #4
It's genres are trip-hop and shoegazing
Interesting, I never knew there was such a thing O.O
How sad that summertime is over anyway..
Though in all fairness, we barely had summer over in London, isn't that just wonderful?(!)
Hope you liked this post (:
See you all soon.

Songs From Soundtracks

Hey! :D
Alright, so I was thinking about all my favourite movies
A lot of which have really awesome bands, like Scott Pilgrim vs The World's Sex Bob-Omb (which I don't recommend listening to with headphones, but anyway)
Those really awesome bands, I seriously wish they were real! :)
There are also songs off soundtracks from actual solo artists and bands that I also love
SO I wanted to share all my favourites, in a list :)

Lemonade Mouth - Determinate
A movie, and a band
This is probably one of the best Disney Channel original movies, so maybe, just maybe, I'll do a film review of that some time soon :)
The number of times I've watched this movie is unreal
And the thing is, I hate it when movies have songs in the middle (hence the reason why I dislike musicals) and when people burst into song
Like, when do we ever do that anyway? -_-
However this is probably one of my faves with people singing randomly, because the music is actually good.
I'll actually cry if Bridgit turns into one of those "teen stars gone bad"
Really, I will

Scott Pilgrim vs The World: Sex Bob-Omb - Garbage Truck
Yes, as mentioned at the start of this post, I really don't think you should listen to their music with headphones on because of the heavy bass hahaha :))
They have such a cool band name! It has a double meaning: Bob-Omb has something to do with Super Mario, and the whole name could possibly refer to "Sex Bomb," that song by Tom Jones

Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Clash At Demonhead - Black Sheep
Same movie, different band, and don't worry, you can listen to this with headphones on
Love this band, even though Envy (their lead singer) hates Scott so bad
And the original version of Black Sheep wasn't as good as this one (Metric shouldn't take that statement offensively)

Jennifer's Body: Panic! At The Disco - New Perspective
Panic! At The Disco are real, in case you didn't know
Part of the reason why I watched Jennifer's Body was just to hear New Perspective (which by the way, was only in the movie for about 20 seconds)

Yes, I liked that movie. No, it wasn't scary
Merely cringeworthy, and trust me, I watched this really late at night
Easy A: Natasha Bedingfield - Pocketful Of Sunshine
I love this song because it's just so messed up! :D
It's my ringtone, it's my alarm, and it's all thanks to Easy A :)
I got a pocket, got a pocketful of sunshine
I got a love and I know that it's all mine
Oh, oh, oh
Yeah, there's others, but I shan't bore you any longer
See you later!

PS - thinking of making a Tumblr for all the wacky photos I find. :) x
